These terms apply to the Meeting Finder app and this website, provided by iByte Apps Limited, England.

The meeting information

Meetings are listed as AA and NA service bodies publish them. They change, and we cannot check every one, so we cannot promise that a meeting will take place as listed. Please confirm with the group or service body before you travel. Meeting Finder is not affiliated with, endorsed or approved by Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc., Narcotics Anonymous World Services, Inc., or any service body.

Not a medical service

Meeting Finder helps you find meetings. It does not give medical advice. If you are in danger or need urgent help, call your local emergency number.

Annual subscription

  • Annual is a yearly subscription bought through Google Play (or the App Store). The price is shown before you buy.
  • It renews each year until you cancel it in your Google Play (or App Store) account. Cancel at least 24 hours before it renews to avoid the next charge. You keep Annual until the end of the period you paid for.
  • There is no free trial: Annual starts, and is charged, on the day you buy it.
  • Refunds follow Google Play's and the App Store's own policies.

Using the app

Please use Meeting Finder to find meetings for yourself or someone you are helping. Do not copy the meeting data in bulk or use the app to contact or identify members.

The Common Room

  • The Common Room is a chat on this website for people aged 18 or over. You join with your email and keep to the house rules.
  • What you write is your responsibility. Don't share contact details or anything that identifies you or anyone else, and don't repeat other members' words elsewhere.
  • Casey is an AI host, run by us and labelled on every message. Nothing the host or any member writes is medical, legal or professional advice, and the chat is no substitute for a meeting, a sponsor, a doctor or emergency help.
  • We may remove any message, and close any account that breaks the house rules, without notice.

Our liability

We provide Meeting Finder with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses caused by meeting information that a service body published, or for anything outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows when. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
